We developed our training programmes because generic project management qualifications consistently fail to address the specific operational realities of renewable energy and retrofit work in Ireland.
The Irish renewable energy sector is growing rapidly, driven by national climate commitments and significant public and private investment. Wind farms, solar installations and large-scale retrofit programmes are all expanding simultaneously — creating a persistent demand for people who can coordinate these projects from inception to handover.
General Studium's training programmes are designed around the actual workflow of these projects. We don't teach abstract project management theory and leave participants to figure out how it applies to SEAI documentation or BER certification workflows. Every module is grounded in the specific processes, forms, regulations and stakeholder relationships that characterise renewable energy and retrofit work in Ireland.
Our training is delivered from our base in Tallaght, Dublin, and is designed to be intensive and practical — equipping participants with skills they can apply immediately in a coordination role.
Every piece of content in our programmes is specific to renewable energy and retrofit work in Ireland. We don't repurpose generic project management training — we build from the actual requirements of Irish projects.
Participants work through real documentation templates, scheduling scenarios and coordination challenges drawn from the types of projects they will encounter. The focus is on skills that transfer directly to the workplace.
SEAI schemes change. Regulations evolve. Grid connection processes are updated. Our training content is reviewed and updated regularly to reflect the current state of the sector, not what it looked like several years ago.
We design our programmes for people coming from diverse backgrounds — not just those with existing project management credentials. Clear prerequisites, structured progression and practical support throughout.
Our intensive programmes are structured to move participants through the core competencies of renewable energy project coordination in a logical sequence — from foundational scheduling and procurement skills through to advanced documentation and quality assurance practice.
Concentrated delivery that respects participants' time while ensuring comprehensive coverage of all coordination competencies.
Hands-on work with real SEAI documentation templates, procurement tracking tools and quality assurance frameworks.
Programmes run in small cohorts to ensure individual attention and meaningful discussion of sector-specific challenges.
